1000 miles in memory of Colin

This Sunday we are so PROUD to be doing something really special in memory of Colin who we supported via our charity, who died last year.

The Lewis Foundation supporters will be joining Colin's family. His wife Diane Gosling, daughters Lorna Stockwell & Helen Gosling, their family and supporters from Northamptonshire Walks to walk in memory of Colin.

We met the family a few years ago following Colin's cancer diagnosis and stayed in touch as he went through treatment. We got to spend time with them and get to know them throughout Colin's cancer journey. Despite Colin going through cancer, he still did what he could do to support us. He was an incredible guy, whose company we enjoyed.

Since Colin passed away last year, the family has continued to do all they can to raise awareness and funds to support others that are going through cancer treatment. They have raised over £2000 in the last year.

This is the latest challenge, with Diane aim to walk 1000 miles in 2021. This Sunday by the end of the walk, she will have hit it - AMAZING!

The walking has been a way to help Diane get through the grief of losing her husband of 54 years and also helping others in his memory.

Shout out to BBC Radio Northampton for sharing Diane's story this week, which you can check out here (split into 4 parts over the breakfast show). We were really touched by what you had to say about Colin and how The Lewis Foundation supported you. Check out the clips below.

If you would like to support Diane with a donation, head to: https://bit.ly/3oLjRWS

We will be with you every step of the way on Sunday! So PROUD of you.
