Over the past two weeks, our team has been working tirelessly to prepare and distribute essential gift packs for cancer patients across several hospitals. These packs, filled with items that are carefully selected to bring comfort and support, are made possible thanks to the generosity of our donors. Each donation helps us provide these vital resources, ensuring patients have something to brighten their day as they navigate their treatment.
We’ve been able to deliver gift packs to the following hospitals:
United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust - ULHT - Breast Unit: 63 packs
Kettering General Hospital - Centenary Ward: 121 packs
Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust - C9: 81 packs and Macmillan Info Pod - 225 packs
Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS FT & Royal Primary Care - Macmillan Information and Support Centre - 205 packs
Northampton Oncology - 121 packs
Grantham Hospital Chemo Suite - 57 packs
Boston Pilgrim Hospital Breast Unit - 55 packs
Boston Pilgrim Hospital Bostania Ward - 30 packs
In total, 549 packs have been distributed.
For some wards, these packs will last a week, while others will last for months. But what truly matters is the direct impact these packs have on cancer patients. Each pack brings a moment of relief, a feeling of support, and a reminder that they are not alone in their journey. We are deeply grateful to our hospital partners for helping make this happen, ensuring that these packs are available to patients every single day.
