What comes in every gift pack
Each Lewis Foundation gift pack is carefully put together to bring comfort, distraction and a small moment of joy to someone receiving cancer treatment. Every item is chosen with one goal in mind helping patients feel remembered, supported and less alone during a difficult time.
Activity books and games
Distraction matters when you’re spending long hours in a hospital bed. We include puzzles, colouring books, word searches, Sudoku and other activity books that help patients focus their minds somewhere other than treatment.
Things to pass the time
Our gift packs include books, colouring books, puzzle books and craft sets — carefully chosen to give patients something absorbing, calming and creative to focus on during long treatment sessions or overnight stays.
Things to provide comfort
Skin creams, blankets and overnight packs with toiletries and underwear — practical, thoughtful items chosen to help patients feel cared for and as comfortable as possible during treatment or an unexpected stay.Â
